Istria

Venice, Italy

Venice is the capital of northern Italy’s Veneto region. This enchanting city is built on over 100 small islands in a lagoon, located in the Adriatic Sea. Venice has no roads, only canals – including the Grand Canal thoroughfare – lined with Renaissance and Gothic palaces. The central square, Piazza San Marco, contains St. Mark’s Basilica, which is tiled with Byzantine mosaics, and the Campanile bell tower offering views of the city’s red roofs. (Google)

Milan, Italy

Milan, a metropolis in Italy's northern Lombardy region, is a global capital of fashion and design. This fashionable city is home to some of the country's major fashion brands. Located in the heart of the city is one of the world's largest Gothic cathedrals, the Gothic Duomo di Milano Cathedral. Another must-see sight is Santa Maria delle Grazie convent, housing Leonardo da Vinci’s mural “The Last Supper.” Milan is filled with centuries of art and culture of the world to enjoy. (Google)
